Reactivity:

This test system reacted with all WSMV isolatestested. Reaction of the ELISA is relatively strong. Optical Densityat 405nm is in a range of 0.700 - 1.900 depending on thevirus titer in the samples tested.

Sensitivity:

Sensitivity of the ELISA is relatively high. The virus can be consistently detected in infected plant leaf tissues diluted at 1:810.

Source Antibody:

A rabbit polyclonal antibody for capture and a monoclonal antibody for detection.

Specificity:

There is no obvious cross reaction with healthyplant tissues. Background is very low on the negative control wells.
