VOC stands for volatile organic chemicals. A number of volatile organic chemicals (VOC’s) exist in the home or office buildings, and these chemicals may be hazardous or toxic in nature when present at increase levels. Some of these are commonly known as Volatile Organic Compounds like the ones found in paints, surface coatings, cleaning products, vinyl flooring, and even items like vertical blinds. The Organic Vapor Screen Check can identify up to 150 different chemicals that may be present indoors. This includes almost all of the common vapors that can be found in indoor air.
