This test system reacted with all SVNV isolates orstrains tested. Reaction of the ELISA is moderately strong. OpticalDensity at 405nm is in a range of 0.400 - >1.600 depending on the virus titer in the samples tested.

Sensitivity:

Sensitivity of the ELISA is high. The virus can be consistently detected in infected plant leaf tissues diluted at1:270.

Rabbit polyclonal antibodies for both capture anddetection.

Specificity:

There is no cross reaction with healthy soybeantissues. Background is low on all of the negative control wells.
