This test system reacted with all SBMV isolates orstrains tested. Reaction of the ELISA is super strong. OpticalDensity at 405nm is in a range of 2.800 - >3.000 depending on the virus titer in the samples tested.

Sensitivity:

Sensitivity of the ELISA is super high. Thevirus can be consistently detected in infected plant leaf tissues diluted at1:2430 - 1:7190.

Rabbit polyclonal antibody for both capture anddetection.

Specificity:

There is no cross reaction with healthy planttissues. Background is very low on all of the negative control wells.
