Reactivity:

This test system reacted with all RMV isolatestested. Reaction of the ELISA is moderately strong. Optical Densityat 405nm is in a range of 0.800 - 1.480 depending on thevirus titer in the samples tested.

Sensitivity:

Sensitivity of the ELISA is relatively high. The virus can be consistently detected in infected plant leaf tissues diluted at1:810 - 1:2430.

Source Antibody:

Rabbit polyclonal antibody for both capture anddetection.

Specificity:

This test shows some cross-reaction with tobaccomosaic virus - common strain. There is no cross reaction with healthy planttissues. Background is relatively low on the negative control wells.
