This test system reacted with all PNRSV isolates tested. Reaction of the ELISA ismoderately strong. OpticalDensity at 405nm is in a range of 0.600 - 2.100 depending on the virus titer in the samples tested.
Sensitivity:
Sensitivity of the ELISA is moderately high. Thevirus can be consistently detected in infected plant leaf tissues diluted at 1:810.
Source Antibody:
A rabbit polyclonal antibody for capture and amixture of two monoclonal antibodies for detection.
Specificity:
There is no cross reaction with healthy planttissues. Background is very low on all of the negative control wells.
