This test system detects all isolates or strains ofPVY and PVY-n. Reaction of the ELISA is very strong. OpticalDensity at 405nm is in a range of 1.200 - 2.480 depending on thevirus titer in the samples tested.

Sensitivity:

Sensitivity of the ELISA isvery high. The virus can be consistentlydetected in infected plant tissues diluted at 1:810 - 1:2430.

Source Antibody:

A rabbit polyclonal antibody for capture and and amouse monoclonal antibody for detection.

Specificity:

There is no cross reaction found with healthy planttissues. Background is relatively low on the negative control wells.
