This test system reacted with all PVY-n isolatestested. Reaction of the ELISA is very strong. Optical Density at 405nm is in a range of 1.480 - 3.000 depending on the virus titer in thesamples tested.

Sensitivity:

Sensitivity of the ELISA is very high. Thevirus can be consistently detected in infected plant leaf tissues diluted at 1:810.- 1:2430.

Source Antibody:

A rabbit polyclonal antibody for capture and a monoclonalantibody for detection.

Specificity:

There is no cross reaction with healthy potatotissues. Background is very low on all of the negative control wells.
