Reactivity:

This test system reacted with all isolates or strains ofPLRV tested. Reaction of the ELISA is very strong. Optical Densityat 405nm is in a range of 1.000 - >3.000 depending onthe virus titer in the samples tested.

Sensitivity:

Sensitivity of the ELISA is relatively high. The virus can be consistently detected in infected plant leaf tissues diluted at 1:810 - 1:2430.

Source Antibody:

A rabbit polyclonal antibody for capture and a monoclonalantibody for detection.

Specificity:

There is no cross reaction with healthy potatotissues. Background is very low on all of the negative control wells.
