This test system reacted with all isolates orstrains of PotLV tested. Reaction of the ELISA is super strong. OpticalDensity at 405nm is in a range of 1.600 - 3.000 depending on the virus titer in the samples tested.

Sensitivity:

Sensitivity of the ELISA is very high. Thevirus can be consistently detected in infected plant leaf tissues diluted at1:2430.

Source Antibody:

A rabbit polyclonal antibody for capture and amonoclonal antibody for detection.

Specificity:

This test does not cross react with other relativecarlaviruses tested. There is no cross reaction with healthy potato planttissues. Background is very low on all of the negative control wells.
