Reactivity:

This test system reacted with all of the isolates ofPSbMV tested. Reaction of the ELISA is moderately strong. OpticalDensity at 405nm is in a range of 0.600 - 1.800 depending on the virus titer in the samples tested.

Sensitivity:

Sensitivity of the ELISA ismoderately high. The virus can be consistentlydetected in infected plant tissues diluted at 1:270.

Source Antibody:

Rabbit polyclonal antibody for both capture anddetection.

Specificity:

There is no obvious cross reaction found withhealthy plant tissues. Background is relatively low on the negative controlwells.
