This test system reacted with all of the isolates ofOYDV tested. Reaction of the ELISA is very strong. Optical Densityat 405nm is in a range of 2.200 - >3.000 depending on the virus titer in the samples tested.

Sensitivity:

Sensitivity of the ELISA isvery high. The virus can be consistentlydetected in infected plant tissues diluted at 1:2430.

Specificity:

This test shows no cross-reaction with otherpotyviruses such as DsMV, LMV, LYSV, MDMV, SCMV, PepMoV, PPV, PRSV, PVV, SbMV,SYSV, TEV, TuMV, TVMV, WMV2, and ZYMV. There is no cross reaction found withhealthy plant tissues. Background is low on all of the negative controlwells.
