Product Name:
Melamine (MEL) ELISA Kit
Description:
Melamine is described as "Harmful if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Chronic exposure may cause cancer or reproductive damage. Eye, skin and respiratory irritant." However, the short-term lethal dose is on a par with common table salt with an LD50 of more than 3 grams per kilogram of bodyweight.
Advantages:
1. High sensitivity 0.05 ppb-20 ppm for different samples.
2. High recovery rate.
3. Fast result in 1 hour.
Cross-reaction Rate:
Melamine 100%, Cyanuric acid <0.5%, Urea <0.5%, Hydrogen peroxide <0.5%, Ammonium Water <0.5%, Danofloxacin <0.5%, Ciprofloxacin <0.5%, Enrofloxacin <0.5%, AOZ(No derivatization) <0.5%, AMOZ(No derivatization) < 0.5%, SMT <0.5%, SDM <0.5%, Penicillin G <0.5%, Salbutamol <0.5%.

Fresh Milk: 50 ppb
Feed: 50 ppb
Egg: 10 ppb
Detection Method:
ELISA Kit
Detection Principle:
Melamine ELISA Kitis an indirect competitive enzyme-labeled immunoassay. The tetracycline antigen is precoated on the wells. The precoated antigen compete the tetracycline antibody (antibody solution) with tetracycline in the sample, anti- tetracycline antibody binds to the tetracycline-HRP enzyme conjugate. Then pipet the substrate solutions to the wells to convert the color.
The color of unknown samples is compared to the color of the standards and the tetracycline concentration of the samples is derived.
