Description:

Group of H₂S gas-forming bacteria will reduce peptone and thiosulfate contained in H₂S media to form colorless H₂S gas. H₂S gas with specific indicators will produce black precipitate if there is a group of H₂S -forming bacteria shown in the presence of black precipitates it is closely related to the presence of coliform group bacteria which is a clue or indicator that water has been contaminated by feces.
Media hydrogen Sulfide is a simple water microbiology test using H₂S method the testing of bacteriological quality of water using H₂S method is simple, Easy and Fast H₂S media is used to detect the presence of groups of H₂S gas-forming bacteria such as proteus sp. citrobacer, Klebsiella sp, Clostridium so and Salmonella sp in drinking water.
