Reactivity:

This test reacted with all GFLV isolates tested. Reaction of the ELISA is very strong. Optical Density at 405nm is in a range of 0.300 - 3.000 depending on the virus titer in the samples tested.

Sensitivity:

Sensitivity of the ELISA is very high. The virus can be consistently detected in infected plant tissues diluted at 1:270 - 1:810.

Source Antibody:

A rabbit polyclonal antibody for capture and and a monoclonal antibody as detection.

Specificity:

There is no cross reaction found with healthy grapevine plant tissues. Background is moderately low on the negative control wells.
