Enrofloxacin is a synthetic antibacterial agent from the class of the fluoroquinolone carboxylic acid derivatives. It is widely used for cattle, pigs, chicken and fish/shrimp farming. Overdose of residues would result in symptoms more serious than either anorexia or vomiting.

Detection Principle:

Enrofloxacin (ENR) ELISA Kit is an indirect competitive enzyme-labeled immunoassay. The Enrofloxacin antigen is precoated on the wells. The precoated antigen compete the Enrofloxacin antibody (antibody solution) with Enrofloxacin in the sample, anti- Enrofloxacin antibody binds to the Enrofloxacin-HRP enzyme conjugate. Then pipet the substrate solutions to the wells to convert the color.
The color of unknown samples is compared to the color of the standards and the Enrofloxacin concentration of the samples is derived.
