Reactivity:

This Immunofluorescence Assay (IFA) reacted with all Cms isolates tested. This IFA procedure requires about 3 hours to perform. Resulted FITC-fluorescenced bacteria on the slides can be visualized by fluorescence microscopy.

Sensitivity:

The IFA test is very sensitive and accurate. The potato ringrotbacterium (Cms) can be consistently recognized among other contaminated bacteria and among plant tissues.
