Reactivity:
The test detects all known isolates of CYDV-rpv. Reaction of the ELISA is relatively strong. Optical Density at 405nm is in a range of 1.000 - 2.200 depending on the virus titer in the samples tested.
Sensitivity:
Sensitivity of the ELISA is moderately high. The virus can be consistentlydetected in infected plant tissues diluted at 1:270 - 1:810.
Source Antibody:
Rabbit polyclonal antibody for capture and mousemonoclonal antibody fordetection.
Specificity:
There is no crossreaction with healthy plant tissues such as barley, oats and wheat. Background is low on thenegative control wells.
